Most mornings, I start my day with some sort of green juice situation- and usually, it’s straight-up celery juice. But on some days, say when there’s a big workout ahead of you or you need a lot of stamina for a morning of hustle and bustle- you need something with a little more kick, you know?
I break down why beet juice gives us that kick in the video and why all the other nutrients are so powerful in the blog post linked above. But I wanted to mention real quick, that the only thing I really peel for this recipe are the oranges (which can be regular or blood oranges). The rest I don’t peel, which is why I look for organic fruits and vegetables for juicing whenever possible. This helps to avoid consuming pesticides and any other nasty chemicals.
This juice is perfect for the days when you are super busy or have a tough workout or marathon run. It’s packed with hydrating, energizing, and anti-inflammatory ingredients so you feel awesome after drinking it. I like to make this entire recipe and split it between two people.
