Carrot Cake Recipe *Re Post*
I’ve spent years perfecting this recipe and It’s one of our family’s FAVORITE desserts!
Dougherty Dozen Carrot Cake
These are Big Family Measurements! For a regular, 13X9 pan you’ll want to Half this recipe.
Ingredients:
4 C Flour
8 Eggs
1 1/2 C Oil
1 1/2 C Applesauce
2 C White Sugar
2 C Brown Sugar
4C Flour
1 T Baking Soda
1 T Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
1 T Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
3 C Carrots
*Mix everything but the carrots in a big bowl with a mixer until smooth.
*Chop up carrots and mix into batter.
*Spray your pan and pour in your batter.
*Bake 350 Degrees F for 1 Hour.
Frosting:
1 1/2 C butter (softened)
24 oz cream cheese (softened)
8 C powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla
*Mix until smooth and spread on your cake. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
