Blake hates getting hungry, especially on the trail. So, here he is again to share with you four of his favourite snacks.
1. Dark Chocolate Nut Clusters
¼ cup unsalted roasted nuts
1 ounce dark chocolate (70-80% cocoa is best)
2. Dates Stuffed with Nut Butter
Medjool dates
Your favourite peanut butter, almond butter or any other nut butter.
3. Peanut Butter and Jelly Bites
1 ¼ cups rolled oats
1 tablespoon unsweetened applesauce
1 cup peanut butter
1 ¼ cup raisins
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla (optional)
4. The Classic Trail Mix
Your favourite nuts
Your favourite seeds
Your favourite small chocolates
Your favourite dried fruits
