Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie!


One of my favorite protein smoothies to make post workout, or as a snack or meal. I have to give credit to Vivian, our BodyFit dietitian ,for getting me hooked on this one— I’m normally a chocolate gal 🍫

1 frozen banana
1 cup strawberries
A big handful of spinach
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
2 scoops collagen powder (optional)
1 cup milk of choice

A few of my tips for making shakes or smoothies:

🥬 VEGGIES! Spinach, kale, and cauliflower are all great veggies to add into any shake or smoothie for all those helpful nutrients! You don’t taste them! This is a great way to get those little ones to eat greens, too 👶

🫐 Keep your FREEZER stocked! Frozen or fresh versions of these veggies, and fruit (berries, banana, mangoes, etc) are equally nutritious, and having them readily available in the freezer can be a game changer! They also make smoothies extra cold and creamy.

🥛Add PROTEIN powder and/or collagen powder, or just enjoy blended with your choice of milk or fruit!
