SUPER FAST FIVE DOLLAR DINNERS: CHEAP MEALS ON A BUDGET



These are all new super fast five dollar dinner for the family on a budget. I hope you enjoy! All ingredients are listed down below from Walmart Grocery in Texas. (prices are subjective to your area).

MERCHANDISE

JAMBALAYA 5.54
-1jambalaya family mix 2.08
-1 green bell pepper .60
-1 package of sausage 2.86
-add 1 tbsp of olive oil to a skillet, add in chopped bell pepper and sausage. Cook until the bell peppers are soft and sausage is seared. Add in jambalaya mix and cook according to the instructions on the package. serve when water is gone and rice is cooked all the way through.

PIZZA GRILLED CHEESE 5.64
1 loaf of bread .88
1 package of sliced cheddar 1.84
1 package of pepperoni slices 2.00
1 bottle of ranch dressing .92
-spray slices of bread with butter spray or melted butter and lay down on a skillet butter side down. Lay down one slice of cheese, pepperoni and then one more slice of cheese. Lay down the last slice of bread with butter side up. cook until golden brown, press down with the spatula and then flip over and brown the other side. Slice in half and serve with marinara or ranch dressing.

RAMEN STIR FRY 4.99
2 packs of ramen noodles(leave out the flavor packets)
1 frozen stir fry mix
1 stir fry sauce
-boil noodles in a separate pan. in a skillet, add 1 tbsp of olive oil, add in frozen veggies and 1/2 cup of stir fry sauce. Simmer until soft and cooked. Add in ramen noodles when they are soft and drained. mix together well and enjoy.

FRIED BURRITOS 5.12
2 cups of shredded cheese 2.18
8 count flour tortillas 1.48
1 can black beans drained .58
1 can refried beans .88
– and 1/2 cup oil into a skillet and set on medium high heat. lay down tortilla on a plate, layers refried beans, black beans and cheese on the tortilla. Fold in the edges of the tortilla and roll the burrito. add a toothpick to help hold it in place and set in oil in skillet. oil should be bubbling and will turn the tortilla golden brown. Flip the burrito over and cook the other side. Let the oil drain onto a towel and serve with salsa or sour cream.

TACO LASAGNA 5.68
1 can of black beans drained .58
1 can of corn drained .44
1 cup of shredded cheddar 1.08
1 can of enchilada sauce 1.62
1 package of corn or flour tortillas. (corn is better)
-mix together beans, corn, rotel into a bowl. spray a casserole dish with nonstick spray and layer 1/4 cup of enchilada sauce. layer the bean mixture, then tortillas, then repeat until all of the ingredients are gone. layer the top with cheese and cook on 400 for 25 minutes. serve with tortilla chips.
